The Georgia Pain Spine Center of Marietta

Pain Solutions Georgia Pain Spine Center Marietta

The Georgia Pain Spine Center (GPSC) opened its newest facility next to our Marietta Office location on Monday July 6th (before and after pictures above). The GPSC is where our doctors perform all of the flouroscopy guided procedures for patients seen at Pain Solutions Treatment Centers.

The GPSC's sister facility in Cartersville has been in operation for over three years and has become a convenient, trusted procedure center for our Cartersville area patients.

Both facilities will be fully licensed by the state of Georgia and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Centers (AAAHC). The AAAHC is a national board that sets standards for Ambulatory Health Centers and reviews and inspects all aspects of operations to assure patients that they are recieving the highest quality health care.

Pain Solutions Georgia Pain Spine Center Nurse Station

The nursing staff for the GPSC facilities are specially trained to assist the physician with procedures and in the provision of conscious sedation when it is needed for appropriate patient safety and convenience.

 Procedure Room in Marietta

It is important to remember that the Georgia Pain Spine Centers are totally separate operations from Pain Solutions Treatment Centers even though they occupy space in the same building with each other. The proximity of the facilities is for the convenience of the patient but can be confusing when the patient receives notices and statements from the two operations.

If you have any questions, please ask your procedure scheduler or anyone in the front office of Pain Solutions Treatment Centers.

Pain Solutions Treatment Centers is delighted to announce the addition of

Emily Cummins, MSN, APRN-BC to our medical staff.

Emily has been with our practice since 2001 serving as a Registered Nurse. She completed her Master's Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in the Kennesaw State University Nurse Practitioner Program and now continues her pain management practice as a Mid-Level Provider.

Emily is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society and has experience in Emergency Medicine and Surgery.

Question from a Patient on Pain Meds

A patient had an interesting question regarding pain medications. So interesting that I thought I had better put it in our "Q & A" Section. It has to do with why we take pain medication prpescriptions so VERY seriously! Click on the FAQ icon and read. As always, if you have any question about any medication we prescribe, do not leave the office until you feel you understand what the medication does. You can always ask your pharmacist as well. Thank you,
